During my summer internship with The Insiders Fund, I had the pleasure of working first hand with Harvey and his colleagues. The amount of real work experience and knowledge that I gained while at the firm was more valuable than any other work experience I have had thus far. I was engaged in tasks that directly benefited the firm that, at the same time, added to my understanding of financial markets as a whole. Every day, I had the opportunity to examine the inner working of a successful hedge fund and learn by being placed in the center of all the action. Never did Harvey or any of his colleagues have trouble elaborating on subjects that I didn’t quite understand or going out of their way to get me as involved as possible in the day to day agenda. With a virtual trading account provided, I was also able to simulate trades across all markets and learn for myself what it takes to be successful in this industry. The skills attained during my internship not only led me to create my own company but will no doubt also lead me towards an advantageous future in the financial industry. I cannot express enough my gratitude for being granted this internship opportunity.
My time as an intern with The Insomniac Hedge Fund Guy has been an extremely fulfilling and informative experience that I would recommend to any student genuinely passionate and ready to learn.
