Four Questions for Ancestry.com Management

I recently sent this email to the CEO of Ancestry.com, ACOM.  I’ll let you know when I hear the results. Let me preface this by saying ACOM has the largest addressable market place of any company I know of.  I know you agree with that.  Why not lower the price to the lowest possible model (even free) to create the largest installed base.  It didn’t hurt Facebook.  What’s your thoughts on this?I am sure you have tested many many permutations of pricing and subscription models.  When will you be in the largest and 2nd largest population countries, China and India? … Read more

Ancestry.com is on a tear lately after taking a huge hit over their Q4 numbers.  Analysts responded after the fact with downgrades and price target reductions, but we still see a huge opportunity in the company.
