According to Wikipedia, MBIA, Inc. is a financial services company. MBIA is the largest bond insurer.  Certainly, a 12-year-old lawsuit resulting in a $600 million cash settlement from Credit Suisse cannot be a complete surprise, but you would think the market would give it more than a $15 million pop in their market cap.  I imagine it was no surprise either to the CEO as he bought 100,000 shares of $MBI  on November 18th at $6.17 but I bet he’s surprised by the tepid market response.  The real play is Puerto Rico and it’s an undercover Dem play.
